About the Role
The organisation is seeking an experienced EL1 Project Manager (Security Infrastructure Projects) to lead the delivery of a complex, high-profile Commonwealth grants program supporting major economic initiatives across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead projects across all lifecycle phases: Initiation, Design, Delivery, Handover, and Defects Liability
* Apply Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and ASIO Technical Notes in delivery
* Manage scope, risks, issues, and stakeholder engagement
* Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost control and contingency planning
* Prepare high-quality project artefacts including plans, schedules, risk registers and status reports
* Manage procurement activities, vendor performance and contract administration
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (WHS, Disability Discrimination, NCC/BCA as applicable)
* Coordinate governance reporting and provide updates to project boards
* Implement robust document control and project administration systems
* Lead change control processes and manage project variations
* Coordinate handover, closure documentation and lessons learned
* Develop or coordinate change management and communications artefacts
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience delivering complex projects from inception to closure
* Demonstrated success transitioning projects into business-as-usual operations
* Strong experience managing budgets within an Australian Government environment
* Experience operating within matrix organisational structures
* Sound understanding of PSPF and ASIO Technical Notes
* Procurement and vendor management experience in government settings
* Strong financial, governance and risk management capability
* Experience managing concurrent, high-risk projects
* Strong working knowledge of recognised Project Management methodologies
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to thrive in fast-paced, reactive environments
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
