We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Mobile Plant Fitters to join our team and work with one of our highly respected clients who is based in Kalgoorlie-Boulder. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic company.
About the role
* FIFO 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
* Ongoing opportunity
* Work based in the Goldfields region
* Immediate start for the right individuals
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter
* Troubleshoot and diagnosis various mechanical faults (hydraulic & pneumatic systems) and electrical fault finding with wiring & control modules
* Good experience with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs & servicing of our clients fleet, including generators, telehandlers, light trucks and vehicles, tool carriers
* Experience with heavy diesel mobile equipment
* Background in mineral extraction or heavy equipment maintenance
* Raise borer equipment maintenance & repair (highly valued)
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and competent in reading and understanding schematic drawings
* Good understanding of MDG (Mining Design Guidelines)
* Knowledge of Australian & ISO Standards
* Certificate III in Engineering – Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanic
* Valid Mining Induction Certificate (White Card) or willingness to obtain
* Confined Space & Working at Heights Work Certification
* Hold a current Driver's license
* Must be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance (less than 6-months old)
* Ability to complete and pass a full Pre‑Employment Medical including drug and alcohol screening
