We currently have a full-time opportunity for an experienced prescription medication sales professional to join our Prescription Sales team in NSW, where you will be responsible for promoting Aspen medications and products to new and existing GP and Medical Centre customers throughout Newcastle and the Mid-North Coast.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting a range of leading products to maintain and grow the Neuroscience, Dermatology, Sleep, Eye Care and Women's Health portfolio in an ethical and sustainable manner. Our Prescription Business is known for our innovative approach to business and nimble decision-making. Building positive and quality relationships with our customers, internal team and business partners is something we take pride in.
Responsibilities will include:
* Promoting a range of leading medications to GPs, clinics and health care professionals (including community pharmacists and optometrists), in line with sales revenue targets
* Attending various trade displays to represent Aspen and its Prescription Portfolio
* Developing, implementing and managing your Territory Plan via IMS Sales analysis
* Planning and implementing programs within your territory to create awareness and drive adoption
* Collaborating with your GP and HSR colleagues on territory planning, sales activities, digital initiatives, events and CRM
* Working with Brand and Marketing teams to implement marketing and communication plans and promote Aspen's digital footprint
* Maintaining the CRM system
To succeed in this environment you must be self-motivated, pro-active, highly organized and able to work in a collaborative team environment. In addition:
* Demonstrated experience in medical sales within the prescription field, together with an understanding of the business models and stakeholders within health networks
* An understanding of pharmaceutical pricing/discounts and competition law
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and create rapport with a variety of people
* Tertiary qualifications in a science or health related field highly desirable
