Aussie Tiny HousesPosition: PainterPermanent full-time position38 hours per weekSalary $90,000 to $95,000 per year plus superannuationSunshine Coast BasedAussie Tiny Houses is looking for a Professional Painter to join our team.Benefits & ResponsibilitiesYour duties will include:Paint the interiors of tiny houses and other buildings as requiredWork with other construction professionals, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, to prepare tiny houses for saleHandle and transport materials and equipmentUse power tools and machinery (e.g., forklifts) when neededFollow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasksReport issues with equipment or unsafe conditionsResponsible for cleaning equipment, work areas, and any splatters that may have resulted while paintingPrepare and apply paint, using brushes, rollers, or spray guns to apply the paint to the surfaceApply undercoats, oil-based, gloss enamel, varnish, or stain, low sheen acrylic to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayingResponsible for mixing paint and colour matching for the projectManage required paint materials for the projectSupervise the painting process, and maintain records ensuring the work meets standardsEnsure health and safety requirements are met at each job siteQualifications & ExperienceThe successful applicant will need to be a qualified tradesman painter and hold Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (desirable).The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years’ work experience as a professional painter.We are looking for a self-motivated, English-speaking, articulate person to fill the role of Painter within our company.Preference will be given to applicants with experience working on a number of painting projects simultaneously, showing a commitment to ongoing education and self-improvement either within the painting trade or other areas.About the CompanyWe facilitate affordable housing providing a sustainable outcome for the owner, the land, the community, and our company.Salary: $90,000 - $95,000Job Publish: 11-02-2025Job Expire: 13-03-2025
