**How will I help?**
Lending Managers are critical to achieving Business Division’s vision of helping make Australian businesses stronger. As a lending expert in Business Banking, you’ll work as a trusted partner to our Business Banking Managers, managing all lending requests that come through.
You will ensure we are putting our customer first by maintaining exceptionally high standards of deal quality and achieving first time right principles. Your expertise will extend to providing guidance and coaching to bankers on lending requirements with a passion for executing complex credit proposals in an efficient and effective manner.
**Skills & Responsibilities**
- Background in consumer or business lending is advantageous
- High level of attention to detail while analysing loans, ensuring best case outcomes for our customers
- Adhering to Westpac’s responsible lending criteria
- Drafting loans and working in a team to ensure compliance
- Managing loans through beginning to end
- Ability to analyse large amount of data with accuracy and efficiency
- Strong customer focus

**What do I need?**
You’ll be naturally motivated and energetic with an understanding of financial analysis and credit standards being beneficial. Helpfulness is in your DNA, so building strong relationships with our customers and taking ownership is second nature to you.
You will also need to demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with your internal business partners, most importantly with our Credit partners. You will ideally have a lending background but more importantly an aptitude for numbers and high attention to detail to ensure speedy and accurate delivery.
