We’re seeking Disability Services Workers in Palmerston, Northern Territory, to support our clients.
About
Healthscope Independence Services helps people living with disabilities to live fulfilling lives. For 28 years, we have offered community and in-house support across various Australian states, promoting a person-centred approach. We are a passionate team dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities to become independent and pursue their desired lives.
What your role will look like
No two days are the same! As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care to support our clients with various daily living activities. Your duties may include personal care, medication assistance, shopping, or cooking. Most importantly, you’ll be supporting clients to achieve goals that matter to them. We seek employees who enjoy a varied workplace and want to develop and build valuable skills.
To be successful in this role
· Demonstrate passion for working with both mental and physical disabilities
· Enjoy challenges and celebrate small successes
· Show empathy and a caring attitude
· Hold a valid NDIS check, CPR, and First Aid Certificate
· Be fully COVID vaccinated
· Have the right to work in Australia
· Relevant qualifications are preferred, but we will train the right candidate in-house.
