Junior Trainee Ecologist
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Trainee Ecologist to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting botanical surveys, identifying plant community types, assessing vegetation condition, and preparing vegetation maps.
The primary objective of this role is to gain technical expertise in ecological projects, with a focus on the botanical aspects.
* Conducting botanical surveys
* Demonstrating experience and skills in business management
* Experience in NSW
* Identifying plant community types (PCTs)
* Assessing vegetation condition
* Preparing vegetation maps
* Plant identification
* Providing written input to ecological reports
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
* AQF level 7 Tertiary qualifications in Australian ecology, Australian botany, or GIS
* A current driver's license
* Residency within daily commuting distance of our office
