Job Description
Sales Administration & Customer Support
* Respond to customer enquiries regarding product availability, product set up, system pricing, specifications, and order status.
* Prepare presentations and other sales-related documentation.
* Follow up on leads for new product and new customers, preparing sales briefs based on the NPD lead information
* Maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail accounts.
* Track project progress and proactively communicate updates or delays.
* Support the Sales Team with reporting, analytics, and CRM maintenance.
Product & Compliance Support
* Ensure product information (ingredients, allergens, certifications, shelf life) is accurate and up to date.
* Assist with compliance requirements such as food safety documentation, labelling updates, and import permits.
* Support new product launches and product range updates.
* Act as the conduit between key suppliers and key customers to launch NPD and/or achieve change timelines
Data & Reporting
* Maintain accurate records across CRM, ERP, and inventory systems.
* Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance summaries.
* Assist in analysing sales trends, customer demand, and product performance.
Other Responsibilities
* Refer all potential sales leads to the correct Sales Team.
* Report any aged product, product dating issues to Sales Team / Supply Teams.
* Use sound logistics and cost-effective methods to produce best possible outcomes
* Contribute to the overall functionality of the department and business to drive improvement
* Any other customer or commercial duties as may be required from time to time including general administrative support to the Sales Team

* Experience in the food importing, FMCG, or food distribution industry
* Knowledge of international shipping, incoterms, or customs processes
* Familiarity with food safety standards and compliance documentation
* Demonstrated experience in a customer service / call centre environment and systems.
* High volume administrative role with project management / stage gate understanding
* Intermediate experience and knowledge in general computer operations
