Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Government Relations efforts in a high-impact environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and advise government departments and senior leaders.
The Manager Government Relations will be responsible for driving the preparation and coordination of timely, high-quality briefings to meet the needs of senior government stakeholders. This includes working closely with Minister's Offices, government departments, and external committees to develop succinct briefings and deliver impactful results.
In this role, you will work in a volunteer-based agency supporting communities in NSW. You will enjoy a 35-hour work week and a hybrid work environment, with time in the office and time working from home. Our attractive salary range is $129,464 to $142,665 plus 12% superannuation and leave loading.

* Possess qualifications or significant relevant experience in Communications, Government, or a related field with strong knowledge of government relations.
* Demonstrate proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Be a strong communicator with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
* Apply strategic thinking to manage complex and sensitive issues and provide clear, concise advice.
