Job Title: Maintenance Technician
About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of all infrastructure and equipment within the hatchery. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, equipment checks, and minor upgrades to ensure plant efficiency, biosecurity compliance, and safe operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform regular maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment checks in line with established schedules.
* Support troubleshooting of operational equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
* Carry out minor repairs, adjustments, and upgrades to hatchery equipment as directed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong focus on safety, accuracy, teamwork, and proactive communication. You will work under the guidance of the Hatchery Maintenance Supervisor and follow established protocols.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or degree preferred.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
* Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
