Estimator Role
Randstad is partnered with a well-established civil contractor seeking to appoint an estimator to bid manage works across various projects. The successful candidate will work closely with senior managers to collaboratively price projects from start to finish.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and submitting detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects.
* Interpreting project plans, scope of work, and other tender documents.
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
* Conducting site visits to assess project conditions and identify potential risks.
* Working collaboratively with project managers and engineers to ensure a smooth transition from tender to project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Civil Estimator, preferably within the Victorian civil construction market. They should also possess exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in estimating software. Additionally, they should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
