Offer description

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a practical, motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a close-knit team.

The Storeperson role at MMEM Jandakot is a foundation role within the branch. You'll be responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations while working closely with an experienced Storeperson and the wider sales team. Over time, there is genuine opportunity to develop into counter sales or other roles within the business for the right person.

This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys physical activity, and wants to grow with a business rather than just "clock in and clock out".

The Role

As the Storeperson, your responsibilities will include:

• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders

• Loading and unloading courier and supplier deliveries

• Delivering goods to customers (shared daily delivery run)

• General warehouse and store duties

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

• Assisting with stock management and order processing

• Supporting the branch with general duties as required

• Learning counter sales and customer service over time.

This is a hands-on warehouse role, with structure, variety, and clear expectations.

The Company

MMEM is part of MM Electrical Merchandising, one of Australia's largest electrical wholesale distribution businesses. Operating under a long-established decentralised model, MMEM branches are empowered to run their business locally while benefiting from national scale, strong supplier partnerships, and long-term stability.

The Jandakot branch has been operating for around 15 years and is known for its supportive culture, strong service focus, and commitment to developing people internally.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Experience

• Previous warehouse or store experience is helpful but not essential

• Industry experience is advantageous, but training will be provided

Skills & Attributes

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

• Physically capable of manual warehouse duties

• Willingness to learn and take on responsibility

• Positive attitude and good communication skills

Licences

• Manual driver's licence preferred

• Forklift licence not required (training provided if needed)

Why Join MMEM?

• Competitive salary with access to profit sharing

• Stable, full-time role with consistent weekday hours

• Supportive team environment with on-the-job training

• Clear development pathways within a national organisation

If you're looking for a hands-on role with long-term potential and the chance to build a career in a well-established business, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now.
