Your new company
Your new company is a national leading distributor of building supplies who take pride in their ability to work in a fast-paced environment to provide their customers with quality service and products. With Canberra in a state of expansion and the need for supplies on the rise, this business is now seeking an experienced truck driver to join their team.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for driving the company's HR truck and working with an offsider to load and unload building supplies and deliver it to various sites in Canberra and the surrounding regions. You will be required to liaise with customers during deliveries and represent the company in a professional manner and adhere to all WHS procedures. When not out on deliveries, you will work in the warehouse to pack loads for your next delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this position, it is essential that you are physically capable of safely lifting heavy building supplies into and out of trucks, have the ability to work in a team environment and;
* A current HR truck licence & recent demonstrated truck driving experience
* The ability to liaise with customers when completing deliveries
* A valid white card and asbestos awareness ticket as well as a silica awareness ticket
* A strong understanding of WHS legislation and commitment to safety
* Demonstrated experience in completing deliveries and in safe manual handling procedures

Personally, you will receive a weekly pay check with above-award wages and all industry allowances.
