Exciting new opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to join our Connect Sydney joint venture
About the Role
The Supervisor contributes to the project through the management of sub-contractor and internal teams, providing leadership by safely managing performance of people, work programs, and/or processes. This includes primary responsibility for definition, planning, execution, and closing activities necessary to successfully deliver works for the project safely. To ensure adherence to best practices project management principles whilst managing the project delivery services to the Client.
Key responsibilities:
- Participate in formal and contractual meetings with the client and other relevant parties.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate all activities across the contract, including scheduling and programming of works.
- Responsible for ensuring that everyone that undertakes work on the contract has the correct training and has valid licences.
- Supporting the contract management system to ensure all maintenance or project activities are completed.
- Ensure all KPI's and contract performance requirements are met.
- Conduct tool box meetings, communicate policies, procedures and practices to work teams.
- Assist in the management of maintenance and construction projects in accordance with standards and Risk Management Process.
- Ensure all technical, program, quality, environmental, community, industrial, safety and commercial obligations are achieved and maintained on site.
- Assist in the development and review of SWMS.
- Assist in business development activities as required.
- Ensure all required management systems documentation adherence.
- Undertake reviews of reports submitted and raise any items in the management system.
- Ensure on call roster is created and updated.
- Promote open and transparent communication as appropriate to encourage understanding of all stakeholder requirements and drivers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Electrician, ideally with experience as a Supervisor/Team Leader within the Infrastructure Services industry and posses the following experience and competencies:
- NSW Electrical license
- Current driver's license
Desirable, but not essential:
- Implement Traffic Control Plans
- Authorised Traffic controller
- High Risk Work Licence (WP)
- Safe Working at Heights
- First Aid, CPR and LVR
- General Construction Induction Card
- EWP and/or MR License
- Experience and knowledge of environmental, health and safety procedures
