Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
Support the Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) team to reconcile external audit recommendations by undertaking coding quality audits including targeted documentation or ad-hoc audits as required.
Undertake targeted review clinical coding and associated DRG allocation in conjunction with CDI documentation improvement focus areas.
Contribute to Clinical Documentation Improvement initiatives, including training and education material and actively upskill new and existing Clinical Documentation Specialists. These queries will directly relate to the Queensland Health Activity Based Funding (ABF) model, sub
and non-acute patients (SNAP), and other clinical coding related matters.
