About the role:
This casual role offers flexible opportunities across a 24/7 day roster, supporting our guests. Compensation includes an hourly rate plus a fixed above-award travel allowance. We have low turnover and a great team; opportunities to join us are rare. If you're seeking a rewarding career supporting people with disabilities, we want to hear from you!
Rosters are provided fortnightly in advance. You control your availability to achieve a healthy work/life balance. Ideally, you will have a mix of day/night, weekday, and weekend availability.
Shifts typically have a minimum engagement of 3 hours but are often longer and include various types such as community access and engagement, Short Term Accommodation (STA) respite, and Supported Independent Living (SIL), supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.

About you:
You are passionate about providing the best care and experiences to those you support. Caring is your profession, not just a job.
To be considered for an interview, you will need:
* 6+ months relevant experience in disability or educational settings (preferred)
* Hold a Cert 2 in Individualised Support or Cert 2 in Disability, or be willing to obtain one
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates
* Current NDIS Worker Screening and willingness to engage in further skills development
* Comprehensively insured reliable 4-door vehicle for community access transportation
* A person-centered approach, engaging empathy, support, and guidance with integrity, respect, safety, and diligence
* Collaborative attitude, contributing with accountability and respect
* Self-managed, positive, proactive approach with diligence in documentation and standards
* Effective time and resource management skills
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, non-verbal)
* Ability to meet physical requirements and adhere to WHS standards
