Your new role:
In this senior role, you will deliver specialist psychology services to patients with complex mental health needs within acute hospital environments. Working as part of a highly functioning interprofessional team, you will apply advanced clinical judgement and contribute to service development and education.
You will:
Deliver senior psychological assessment, intervention and evaluation in acute settings
Act as a clinical reference point within the psychology and interprofessional team
Apply advanced clinical judgement to complex psychological decision-making
Contribute to development of evidence-based practices, policies and protocols
Participate in service development, quality improvement and research initiatives
About you:
You are an experienced psychologist with strong clinical capability and confidence working in complex hospital environments. You communicate effectively, manage competing demands and contribute positively to multidisciplinary teams.
You will bring:
APAC-accredited qualification and eligibility for AHPRA registration
Advanced experience delivering psychological services in acute or hospital settings
Strong clinical reasoning, prioritisation and time-management skills
Ability to work collaboratively and provide high-level clinical advice
Experience providing supervision, education or support to junior clinicians
