Production Operator
Production Operators Wanted!
We are currently seeking motivated, hands-on workers for our Northgate site. Join our team providing reinforcing steel mesh, bar and associated products to customers, and get involved in a variety of stores and production tasks to keep our busy operation running to capacity.
This full-time role is ideal for someone who is seeking a rewarding career within the steel industry.
Regular day shifts that fit in with family life and other commitments. Some overtime required.
What You'll Be Doing
* Operating production machinery and equipment with precision and care
* Cut and bend reinforcing steel
* Bundle and load reinforcing steel onto trucks
* Weld reinforcing steel structures together (training provided)
* Supporting your team to meet targets and keep things running smoothly
What You'll Bring
* Experience in a production environment using machinery
* Experience in metal production or reinforcing steel is desirable but not essential
* A strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
* Physical fitness, reliability and a can-do attitude
* Forklift licence and welding experience (an advantage)
