The Role
We are seeking a casual Trainer & Assessor to commence in February 2026, delivering Individual Support, medication training and First Aid.
This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) with VET training experience who is confident delivering HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medications, First Aid and Individual Support training.
Delivery details
* Primary client based in Orange
* Training delivered Monday fortnightly, 10:00am - 3:30pm
* First Aid and medication training scheduled sporadically
* Travel required across the Central West, including Dubbo and West Wyalong
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and assess Individual Support training
* Deliver HLTHPS006 medication training
* Deliver accredited First Aid training
* Maintain compliant training and assessment records
* Support learners through quality training practices
About You
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) with strong clinical experience
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
* Experience delivering training in the VET sector
* Confident delivering medication training and First Aid
* Strong communication and learner engagement skills
* Willingness to travel within the Central West region
Compliance Requirements
* Current Working With Children Check
* Current Police Check
Rates
* $70.17 per hour - Training and Assessment
* $44.66 per hour - Administration and travel
