* Permanent Full Time
* $64,207 - $72,166 gross p.a. plus 11.5% Super plus allowances
* 38 hours per week
* Work between West Nowra, Huskisson, and Ulladulla depending on operational needs. Also be required to work at the 7 other sites including Kangaroo Valley, Berry, Callala, Sussex Inlet, Bendalong, Lake Conjola, and Kioloa as required

About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring the correct classification, ticketing, charging and destination of waste received at the depot, as well as dispatching and ticketing of outbound materials. This includes:

* Opening weighbridge office and performing start up procedures
* Assess customer loads and provide directions for recycling, resource recovery or landfill
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Council's policies and procedures
* Input details into computerised waste tracking system
* Process payments and perform end of day balance and banking reconciliation
* Provide administrative support to facilitate the efficient delivery of waste services

A monthly roster will be implemented to support the business requirements, which operates seven days a week. Candidates selected for this role will be responsible for working shifts which may include weekends and public holidays as required.


About You

To be successful in the position, you will have:

* Certificate II in Waste Management, Civil Construction, or equivalent experience
* Class C Driver's Licence
* Willing to obtain or hold a current NSW General Construction Induction Card (White card)
* Experience in administration, weighbridge operation, payments, and customer service
* Proof of Right to work in Australia
