Overview
As Fleet Engineer of mechanical systems, you will maintain continuing airworthiness through effective configuration control of the aircraft mechanical systems and cabin for the operated fleet types as well as initiate preventative or predictive maintenance strategies to improve aircraft technical dispatch reliability.
Responsibilities
* Maintain continuing airworthiness through configuration control of the aircraft mechanical systems and cabin for the operated fleet types.
* Initiate preventative or predictive maintenance strategies to improve aircraft technical dispatch reliability.
Qualifications
* A suitable Aviation Engineering Qualification — Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent, having held an Aircraft Engineering License, or relevant Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, within the Mechanical discipline.
* Advanced computer or data analysis skills.
* 5 years relevant work experience with at least 2 years working in either an airline technical services, support role or aircraft maintenance in a mechanical based discipline, working with aircraft that are the same, or of a similar type, as the aircraft type operated by the airline.
* Comprehensive knowledge of:
o The regulations and standards applicable to aircraft maintenance programs and reliability programs.
o Regular maintenance requirements included in the instruction for continuing airworthiness for the aircraft.
o The specifications and standards that have been used by the type certificate holder to develop regular maintenance requirements for the aircraft.
o The aircraft certification basis.
o The aircraft structure and systems, including the propulsion system, for the aircraft/engine type operated by the airline.
