A little about the role

Working closely with the Case Worker, the Support Worker will deliver early intervention and preventative support that empowers communities, families, and individuals to address their needs through tailored case management services.

Other key responsibilities include:

* Build trusting relationships with families to enhance their safety, stability, wellbeing, and overall capacity.
* Work with the Case Worker to develop, implement, and review tailored case management plans to address areas of concern.
* Maintain accurate client case management files and promote cultural safety and competence.

The base salary for this position is $76, $81,905.20 per annum (based on 1.0FTE) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum + mobile + regional allowance.

This position is full time, ongoing.

About you

To be successful in this role, you'll come with:

* Experience working within community and/or social services, ideally working closely with families and other key stakeholders.
* Sound understanding of Child Protection procedures.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with children, young people, and adults in different situations.
* Strong ability to compose clear, accurate, and concise reports, letters, and memos.
