Principal Recruiter
to join our high-performing recruitment team. This is not a typical recruitment role — it's an opportunity to develop deep expertise in selling technology work, consulting services, and driving true business partnerships with some of Australia's most exciting clients.

The role
In this dynamic role, you'll build and manage deep client relationships across both technology and consulting sectors, with the unique opportunity to sell a blend of recruitment services and professional consulting solutions. Working closely with the founders and senior leadership team, you'll play a key role in driving business growth while also benefiting from personalised coaching and development through an embedded executive performance coach. You'll take the lead in developing new business opportunities through strategic outreach and strong relationship building, while also managing the full lifecycle of contract recruitment—ensuring exceptional experiences for both clients and candidates. As part of a growing team, you'll have a direct hand in shaping the future of our Melbourne practice.
We are specifically seeking a recruiter with experience placing contractors and an existing network within the Melbourne technology market. You will work directly with hands-on founders, benefit from an executive performance coach embedded in the business, and operate in a collaborative, supportive team environment where we genuinely take pride in what we do.
Experienced recruiter with a strong track record in the recruitment market.
Existing network within Melbourne's technology & transformation market.
Excited to learn how to sell technology solutions and consulting services, not only recruitment.
Sales and service mindset— you are motivated by outcomes and growth that lead to customer success.
Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, business owners and technology leaders.
Commercially curious, driven, and coachable.
Takes genuine pride in their work and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Minimum Expectations
Proven experience in contract recruitment — technology, transformation, or professional services highly regarded.
A proven track record building contractor book network within Melbourne is highly desirable.
Provenability to engage and influence at senior stakeholder levels.
Strong commercial acumen with a solutions-focused approach.
Driven by both personal development and team success.
Exposure to consulting, technology, or professional services will be highly valued.
