Job Description
As a Cook at GYG, you will be at the heart of our mission to serve up the best Mexican food experience. Following the GYG recipe guide, your role will see you working with fresh ingredients and vibrant Mexican flavours, delivering quality creations for our new and loyal guests. We are open 7 days a week and we need an experienced Cook with flexible availability, calm under pressure, willing to learn, and a passion for food.
Responsibilities
* Availability required for morning and night shifts
* Weekdays and Weekends
* Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen environment will be highly regarded
* This role will require you to love preparing food with excellence in a fun, fast‐paced environment
* Regular check‐ins with the Line Team to ensure they have adequate fresh product to serve our customers – never being short of product
* Maintain an orderly BOH including all Storage and Preparation Areas
* Maintain the wash‐up and cooking utensil space as you go
* Some equipment maintenance and cleaning required
* Work to the GYG recipe guide and pride in the food we make for our guests to enjoy!
