Role Description
The Design Manager will oversee the successful execution of property development projects, ensuring designs align with project goals, stakeholder requirements, and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include managing design teams, collaborating with architects and consultants, value engineering, and maintaining quality control throughout project timelines. The position requires efficient coordination across various project phases, from conception to completion. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Brisbane, QLD.
Qualifications
* Strong design and project management skills, with experience in architectural design, construction management, and urban planning.
* Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
* Expertise in stakeholder management, team collaboration, and effective communication.
* Knowledge of industry regulations, development codes, and environmental standards.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related field; Master's degree or certification is advantageous.
* Experience in large-scale urban development projects is a strong asset.
