Gallery Group is expanding its premium Bespoke Team and we're looking for a Bespoke Building Designer who can transform design direction into elevated, buildable and compliant architectural outcomes. This role is perfect for a designer who loves detail, understands buildability, and enjoys working on unique, custom residential projects.
About the Role
As the Bespoke Building Designer, you will be responsible for developing tailored architectural solutions that support Gallery Group's premium product offerings. Working closely with the Bespoke Team and the Drafting Manager, you'll bring design concepts to life through high-quality drafting, custom façade development, and detailed construction documentation.
You will play a key role in ensuring all bespoke designs meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines—while delivering visually striking and structurally sound outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
* Create bespoke architectural concepts and draft high-quality design documentation.
* Ensure all designs meet NCC, council and estate design requirements.
* Work with drafting, estimating and construction teams to ensure buildability.
* Review drawings for accuracy, compliance and constructability.
* Deliver design packages on time and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
* Strong background in residential building design or architectural drafting
* Ability to produce high-quality custom design concepts and construction documentation
* Solid understanding of NCC requirements and local planning/design controls
* A passion for bespoke, premium residential architecture
* Excellent communication and collaborative skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
