Job Requirements:
* We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team of fabrication experts.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in welding and metal fabrication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to interpret technical drawings with ease.
Responsibilities:
* Cut steel components using flame cutting torches, band saws, and cutting machines
* Form and shape metal components using bending machines, rollers, heating methods, and manual tools
* Fabricate custom foundation hardware, including helices, pile shafts, and brackets
* Perform high-quality welding (MIG, stick, and other required processes) to assemble screw piles and structural supports
* Inspect welded assemblies to ensure correct penetration, bead quality, alignment, and compliance with engineering standards
* Maintain workshop welding equipment and tools, performing routine checks, adjustments, and minor repairs to ensure safe and continuous operation
* Work safely within the fabrication workshop, following safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality assurance processes
Requirements:
* A recognised Trade qualification as a Welder
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position
* Strong practical welding experience across multiple processes
* Ability to work from technical drawings with minimal supervision
* Commitment to safety, accuracy, and high-quality workmanship
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a fabrication team
