This is a great opportunity to contribute to a key refurbishment project in a remote location, while enjoying an even-time roster and quality camp facilities.
Now Hiring – FIFO Carpenter (FIFO from Darwin or Cairns)
We are currently seeking skilled Carpenter to cover the following aspects
* Demolish internal camp rooms including bathrooms
* Reinstate ensuite walls and finishes
* Experience in vinyl flooring advantageous
* Experience in basic painting would be helpful though not essential
You must be willing and able to assist across other trades as needed to support team success and project delivery.
The Role & Roster
Location: Groote Eylandt, NT
Roster: 7/7 even time (FIFO from Darwin or Cairns)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: 12 month refurbishment & maintenance project
Accommodation & Meals: Provided on site

What We're Looking For
Required:
* Trade Qualification
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Ability to work unsupervised and to a high standard
* Willingness to assist other trades when needed
Desirable:
* Previous mining or remote project experience
* Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Preferably based in Darwin but FIFO from Cairns is available if required
