Role Overview:
As an
IT Manager
at MR Ingenieros SAS, you will oversee the management and execution of the company's IT strategy, ensuring the alignment of IT systems with business objectives. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all IT-related operations, including infrastructure management, cybersecurity, software development, and support services. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage and optimize the company's IT systems while ensuring effective collaboration with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* IT Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring the effective use of technology to support operational efficiency and business growth.
* Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions, ensuring high availability and reliability.
* Team Leadership:
Lead, manage, and mentor the IT team, ensuring their professional development and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
* Cybersecurity:
Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls to protect company data, networks, and systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
* System Maintenance & Support:
Ensure the timely and efficient operation of IT systems and provide support for technical issues across the organization.
* Project Management:
Lead IT-related projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure improvements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
* Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and costs are controlled.
* Budget Management:
Oversee the IT budget, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits and resources are allocated effectively.
* Compliance & Best Practices:
Ensure IT operations comply with relevant industry regulations and best practices, including data privacy, disaster recovery, and IT governance.
* Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, including operations, finance, and marketing, to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Reporting & Documentation:
Provide regular reports to senior management on IT performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
* A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management or a similar leadership role, with a strong background in IT infrastructure, network administration, and support services.
* In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software platforms.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding and mentoring IT professionals.
* Hands-on experience with IT project management and implementation of IT solutions.
* Expertise in cybersecurity practices, data protection regulations, and IT compliance standards.
* Experience with cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
* Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, databases, and business intelligence tools.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Desirable Skills:
* IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate) are a plus.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
* Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
* Experience managing IT budgets and optimizing technology costs.
