Procreate is committed to empowering creatives worldwide, and we're seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team in Hobart.
The Role
This role sits within the Product team, reporting directly to Claire d'Este, Chief Product Officer. You'll collaborate closely with James Cuda, Co-Founder and Chief Product Designer, as well as other designers and software engineers.
You'll work on Procreate as it evolves and contribute to the development of our next-generation products.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and document processes and procedures to ensure seamless design workflows.
* Build out our design system, workflow, and component library to maintain consistency across products.
* Maintain and expand our existing design principles and language to ensure a unified brand voice.
* Collaborate with designers, engineers, and creatives to produce high-quality work that delights users.
* Design beautiful and intuitive user experiences, taking big-picture ideas from concept to design.
* Develop digital components that improve efficiency and ensure a consistent framework.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in design with a multidisciplinary approach that values technical proficiency, creativity, curiosity, and playfulness.
* Creative flair and an inquisitive approach aimed at engaging, delighting, and sparking joy in users.
* Attention to detail and a desire to grow, with a keen eye for detail and a hunger to learn.
What to Expect in the First 6-12 Months
* Complete onboarding and get to know your colleagues.
* Understand our product design practices, processes, and frameworks.
* Establish relationships with key stakeholders across departments.
* Support and execute key design projects.
* Become an integral part of the Product Design Team and contribute to shipping products.
