NGH is recruiting for a Senior Environmental Planner that will lead project delivery and provides senior guidance on environmental planning strategies, ensuring projects are completed within time and budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards. The role emphasizes leadership, client management, and the continuous improvement of team performance, productivity, and professional development. Responsibilities Work collaboratively with the Planning team to optimise and improve the delivery of planning services Review and support the preparation of a variety of environmental planning reports particularly Review of Environmental Factors and Environmental Impact Statements Provide effective and responsive planning advice to the NGH staff, clients and stakeholders Lead environmental planning projects Lead client, agency, and stakeholder liaison Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships Mentor environmental planning staff Participate and input into the tender and proposal process Review subconsultant specialist reports and liaise with specialist on technical aspects as required Qualifications, skills, experience & competencies Tertiary education in related discipline Outstanding communication skills Client relationship management Leadership/coaching and mentoring Excellent understanding of QA Collaboration Honesty and authenticity What’s on offer: A front row seat in Australia’s energy transition.
