Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Easily accessible to Sydney residents, our team of clinicians, allied health, and support staff works with the community on a shared goal to maintain the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Blue Mountains region.
An exciting opportunity is available for a highly capable and proactive Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive, high-level executive support to the General Manager of Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital and Lithgow Hospital. Working closely with the General Manager, and as part of a collaborative team of Executive Assistants across Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District, this role is integral to the smooth and effective functioning of senior executive operations within a complex healthcare environment.
Working closely with the General Manager, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support that enables effective leadership, governance and service delivery across both hospital sites. You will be trusted to manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings, prepare correspondence and reports, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to exercise sound judgement, manage competing priorities and handle sensitive information with discretion will be critical to your success.
This role requires a proactive and adaptable professional who is confident working autonomously while also collaborating effectively with senior leaders, clinicians and corporate teams. You will bring strong communication skills, exceptional organisational ability and a calm, solutions focused approach to your work.

What you will bring to the role
* Demonstrated experience and proficiency in providing high level executive assistance and support to a general manager or executive member of staff, including a proven capacity to operate effectively in a complex environment demanding confidentiality, flexibility and discernment.
* High level organisational and time management skills with an ability to effectively set priorities, meet deadlines, demonstrate flexibility and show initiative.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills including sound oral and written skills.
* Proven high level of organisational skills including the ability problem solve, prioritise workload and meet deadlines supported by a demonstrated capacity to exercise initiative and judgment, including the demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
* Advanced proficiency in preparing various documentation (memorandums, agendas, minutes, letters, internal briefings, reports, presentations etc) using Microsoft office suite of applications.
* Experience using an electronic records management system such as Content Manager.
* Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel. Ability to travel within the LHD in accordance with the position.
