About the role
Join the team at Cleveland Timber & Hardware as a full-time Stock Controller based in Bohle, QLD 4818. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of the company's inventory and ensuring a seamless supply chain operation.
What you'll be doing
1. Accurately track and monitor stock levels across all product categories
2. Liaise with suppliers to coordinate timely deliveries and manage purchase orders
3. Identify opportunities to optimise inventory, minimise stockouts and reduce excess stock
4. Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures and policies
5. Provide detailed reporting on inventory metrics and trends
6. Work closely with the sales and operations teams to align inventory with customer demand
7. Support the implementation of new stock management systems and technologies
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar inventory management role
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
3. Excellent organisational and time management abilities
4. Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office suite
5. Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics
6. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
