THE ROLE:
We are seeking experienced NDT Technicians to join our team in Gladstone, Queensland. As an NDT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of critical industrial assets across the mining and manufacturing sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
Conduct a range of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and eddy current inspections
Interpret inspection results and provide detailed technical reports to clients
Ensure all testing is carried out in compliance with relevant Australian Standards and industry best practices
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to the highest standards
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop efficient testing strategies
Provide on-site support and guidance to other team members as required
SELECTION CRITERIA:
Formal qualifications in NDT or a related technical discipline
3-5 years' experience as an NDT Technician, preferably in the mining or manufacturing sectors
Demonstrated expertise in a range of NDT testing methods including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the highest safety and quality standards
A current Australian driver's licence and the ability to travel to client sites as required
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
Current AINDT or PCN Non-Destructive Testing Qualifications
Construction Induction White Card
Current Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Gas Test Atmospheres
Current Medipass and QAL &/or RTAY Site Inductions are advantageous.
