You will be entrusted with editing both short-form social media clips and medium-length documentaries (up to 30 minutes), primarily for NGO clients and creative projects centered on photographers and filmmakers. Responsibilities
* Edit short social media videos and medium-length documentaries (up to 30 minutes) from provided footage
* Collaborate on story structure and narrative flow, contributing creative input while maintaining project vision
* Manage the editing process independently, delivering polished final cuts with minimal need for re-edits
* Ensure all content meets high standards for pacing, clarity, and emotional impact
* Communicate effectively to clarify project requirements and timelines
* Organize and manage project files for efficient workflow and future reference
Skills And Requirements
* Proven experience editing documentaries and/or social media video content
* Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
* Strong storytelling instincts and ability to craft compelling narratives from raw footage
* Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
