Happen Business is seeking a talented Software Developer, to work on the Jim2Commerce product in our Research and Development team.
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for ensuring delivering quality enhancements to the Jim2Commerce and other products as directed.
You will work with the development team to take projects, improvements, and fixes from specification through to coding implementation, build, and unit testing. Work within the team's Agile methodology.
In this role, you will liaise with fellow developers in the Jim2Commerce and Jim2 development teams ensuring tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Analyse software requirements and undertake hands on development.
* Test and review code for technical accuracy, standards, and functional compliance
* Undertake performance and scalability improvements and refactoring of legacy code
* Work within deadlines in relation to product release timelines.
* Report daily on development activities.
* Follow defined software development processes and standards
Skills and Experience required:
Technical skills:
* C#
* ASP.Net Core
* HTML, CSS, and Javascript
* Microsoft SQL Server
* NopCommerce (desirable not essential)
Non-Technical skills:
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and simply, both orally and in writing.
* Collaborative and dedicated to achieving team goals.
* Logical and analytical, with a methodical and creative approach to problem-solving.
* Accurate, with high attention to detail.

Experience:
* Degree qualification (or equivalent) in Computer Systems/Software Development.
* Solid software development experience: specifically, C#, ASP. Net Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and MSSQL.
* NopCommerce experience (advantageous).
* Software tools and technologies: bug tracking software, IDEs, version control software
* Agile/Scrum development process exposure.
