Pegasus Care provides trauma-informed, therapeutic care to children and young people in Out-of-Home Care. Our work is grounded in safety, dignity and consistency, and we place strong emphasis on supporting our staff to deliver high-quality care in a structured and well-supervised environment.
We are currently seeking Therapeutic Youth Workers to support children and young people in Out-of-Home Care homes across Sydney.

About you
You are calm, emotionally steady and able to hold boundaries with warmth and consistency. You communicate clearly, work well within a team and are open to feedback. You understand the importance of safety, predictability and therapeutic relationships in a secure OOHC environment.
Essential Experience
* Minimum 6 months paid experience working in Out-of-Home Care.
Qualifications
* Minimum Certificate III, IV or Diploma of Community Services
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Understanding of therapeutic, strengths-based and person-centred care
* ARC therapeutic model training (or willingness to complete)
Mandatory requirements (or willingness to obtain)
* NSW Working With Children Check
* National Police Check (less than 12 months)
* NSW Driver's Licence
* First Aid and CPR
* NDIS Orientation Modules
* Australian working rights
* Two relevant referees
Interview process
