Your Role in Our Team
The CCU/COU at Belmont Hospital is an 8-bed Critical Care Unit providing high-level care to patients with complex medical and surgical needs. We are seeking compassionate, motivated and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a dynamic acute care environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians supporting patients requiring specialised cardiac monitoring, enhanced clinical observation and timely, evidence-based interventions.

As a Registered Nurse within our Critical Care Unit, you will play an integral role in delivering safe and effective care to patients with acute cardiac and complex medical conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

* Providing safe, evidence-based nursing care within a high-acuity setting
* Monitoring and assessing patients using advanced cardiac and clinical observation systems
* Recognising and responding effectively to clinical deterioration and emergency situations
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
* Supporting patients and families with empathy, professionalism and clear communication
* Contributing to a culture of patient safety, clinical excellence and continuous improvement

About You and What We Offer
We are looking for nurses who are passionate about specialised patient care and committed to delivering outstanding clinical outcomes.
Essential and desirable criteria:

* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
* Experience in acute care, coronary care, critical care or high-dependency nursing preferred
* Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment
* Commitment to ongoing learning and patient safety
