The Package
The Package:
$118,181.96 - $129,487.28 gross per annum + 12% super inclusive of Market Premium. (Evaluated as Grade 16 of the QPRC Salary System 2025).
Responsibilities
Assist in undertaking the function of a building certifier for the Queanbeyan Palerang Local Government Area.
Provide leadership, mentoring and a high level of technical advice to both internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in the assessment and management of construction certificates, complying development certificates, and Occupation Certificates and undertaking the Principal Certification role for applicants.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Holds and maintains accreditation as a Building Surveyor – Restricted (all classes of building) or higher, in accordance with the Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018.
Demonstrates expertise in applying relevant certification standards and legislation, including the National Construction Code, Local Government Act, Swimming Pools Act, and NSW Environmental Planning legislation.
Can demonstrate proven commitment to delivering high-quality customer service, with strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Has advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to mentor and support team members.
