Katherine West Health Board (KWHB) is currently looking for a Travel and Logistics Officer. This is an exciting opportunity. We are seeking an highly organised and solutions focused Travel and Logistics Officer for an immediate start. This position is well suited to someone with relevant experinace in travel coordination, logistics management, or a relateted field.The position is responsible for the efficient planning, booking, and management of travel and logistics. Established in 1998, Katherine West Health Board is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that provides a range of clinical, preventative and public health services to clients in the Katherine West Region of the Northern Territory. With four major health care centres and a range of satellite centres, KWHB services an area over two times the size of Tasmania (162,000km²), helping to improve the health and wellbeing of some of the most remote communities in Australia. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Arrange and manage all travel bookings ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with KWHB travel policies Coordinate the logistics for the delivery of equipment, supplies, and materials to remote health service locations Communicate effectively with staff, and internal and external stakeholders Maintain accurate records of all travel and logistics arrangements, ensure all travel and logistics activities comply with KWHB policies and procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
