Hours and roster
You will enjoy a wide range of flexibility in this role and working in a fully supportive team that work together to ensure the work is complete to a high level.

* Approximately 24 hours per week
The role
Reporting into the Payroll Supervisor you'll enjoy working closely with a team of 9. Duties and responsibilities in the role will include;-
* End to end processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
* Maintain and update payroll master data (as advised via PIR).
* Liaise with employees and managers to resolve payroll related queries.
* Perform payroll administration tasks, including onboarding new starters and processing leave forms.
* Calculate and process termination payments.
* Process salary increases and calculates back pay adjustments.
* Complete required payroll reporting, both routine and ad hoc.
* Calculate annual leave and long service leave provisions and accruals.
* Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy prior to releasing bank files.
* Interpret awards and enterprise agreements, including overtime and allowances.
* Perform redundancy calculations.
* Respond promptly to a wide range of payroll enquiries from employees and the business.
Your value
You will come from a background working in an Payroll Officer role working for a medium to large scale business. You will also showcase the following attributes;-
* 2+ recent years in a Payroll Officer role
* Demonstrated business maturity and professional judgement
* Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
* High attention to detail with a strong process driven approach
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
* Well -developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels
* Ability to interpret legislation and Australian workplace agreements confidently
* Excellent organisational, communication, and planning capabilities
* Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems
