**About the Company**
Qualships is an Australia-based, highly specialised Marine service operators providing one stop marine solutions to our clients include Marine Surveys, Engineering repairs and Marine supply and logistics.
**Job Purpose**
- Serve as an important member of the purchasing/management team
- Reduce procurement costs
- Update pricing system/strategy on a national and global scale
- Lead/manage warehouse logistic and stock
- Enhance existing purchasing channels
**Job Responsibility**
1) Costing/purchasing of ships' Spares, services, and other needs.
2) Ensuring goods are delivered on time and within delivery schedules.
4) Negotiation.
5) Identification of new suppliers and development of relationships with them.
6) Inventory control and stock take.
7) Managing and processing claims to/from suppliers including returning goods.
8) Authorize suppliers' invoices after goods receipt and invoicing matching.
9) Monitoring and updating data in the company's purchasing system.
10) Daily and weekly reporting & General administration support.
**Job Requirements**:
1) Minimum 2-year experience in an office environment, preferably relevant to purchasing;
2) Excellent written and spoken skills in English;
3) Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel etc );
