ParaQuad Tasmania (ParaQuad Association of Tasmania Inc.) is a charity based in Glenorchy, Tasmania offering programs and services for people with spinal cord injury and physical disability.
Responsibilities
* The Administration Officer is responsible for providing administrative and operational support in order to ensure effective and efficient business operations of the Association's Head Office and Glenn Moore Units.
* Oversee the administration and operational aspects of the Association's Tolosa Street office
* Coordinate repairs and maintenance of equipment and buildings
* Prepare and maintain organisational spreadsheets, registers and databases
* Provide administrative support to program staff
* Assist with the running of Association events
* Manage bookings and logistics for our accessible accommodation, Glenn Moore Units
* Direct calls and respond to inquiries
* Perform other related duties as required from time to time
Qualifications & Attributes
* The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills/experience:
* Certificate 2 or 3 in Business Administration, or at least two years demonstrated experience
* Demonstrated experience working in the not-for-profit sector
* Effective verbal, listening and written communications skills
* Knowledge of computerised software packages and the Microsoft Office Suite
* The role is permanent part-time based in Glenorchy. Successful applicant will be required to have a RWVP Card and National Police Check and undertake the NDIS Worker Orientation Module at commencement of employment.
