About the Role
We are partnering with multiple large engineering companies to assist with recruiting for major shutdowns and projects in 2023. We offer shutdown work across various sites, locally in Adelaide, across regional South Australia and interstate. Working for RED Appointments, the leading shutdown specialists, allows you to work across multiple clients and always have a steady flow of work.
Sites include Moomba, Roma, Adelaide Brighton Cement, Carrapateena, Prominent Hill, Olympic Dam, Tanami Gold Mine, Nyrstar, GFG Whyalla, Origin Power Station and many more!
Most immediate shutdowns listed below:
Olympic Dam
- Camp, flights and meals provided
- 12 hour days on either day shift or night shift
- Paying $62 FLAT on days and $ FLAT on Nights $71.30
- Shutdowns for the below dates:
01/07 - 30/07
Further shutdowns available throughout 2023!
Shutdowns vary in length and with appropriate allowances paid and accommodation offered if required. There is lots of upcoming work and the prospect to jump from shutdown to shutdown.
Skills and Experience
- Welders: Ability to pass 6G GTAW and MMAW Pipe testing
- Relevant trade qualification
- Flexibility to work long hours and work away
- Strong commitment to OH&S;
- Pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening
