Leadership Role
The Site Supervisor is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, respectful, and non-judgmental environment at the community centre.
* Coaches and guides staff to ensure their support and security.
* Assists with daily operations by supervising staff and volunteers, covering breaks, and working as a float when needed.
* Communicates and collaborates with management teams and community partners for seamless service delivery.
* Promotes ongoing improvement while upholding a family-centered approach.
The Site Supervisor provides direct line support to family members, completes referrals and follow-ups, and assists with de-escalations. They troubleshoot issues, provide basic problem-solving, and maintain calm leadership in crisis situations.
Maintaining professional boundaries, they communicate relevant information between family members and staff, ensuring confidentiality. They also support workshop facilitators and volunteers, participate in staff training, and evaluate programming with the manager and director.
