About the Role:
This pivotal position plays a vital part in SME Gateway's business growth. It supports the Business Development Manager in fostering SME Gateway's membership and contract opportunities from clients.
The role entails identifying, planning, booking, and preparing internal and external business promotions, such as presentations and trade function attendance. Responsibilities include simple desktop publishing using Canva or similar technologies and occasional participation at SME Gateway-hosted events.
Ongoing tasks may involve clearing grouped email mailboxes, processing new membership inquiries, scheduling meetings, issuing and tracking documentation, data entry and validation, phone contact with members, and following up late payments.
Data entry into CRM systems is also required. Less structured activities will be given on an ad hoc basis and must be completed without affecting business-as-usual targets.
This role demands professional customer-service skills and sound business communication skills. As part of a small team, adopting a can-do attitude to achieve success together is essential.
