We're seeking a Senior Accountant, Commercial Finance to join our Funds Management Finance team on a 14-month contract. This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact role partnering across the business and contributing to key financial and investor outcomes.
The opportunity
In this role, you will support the financial performance and reporting for the Funds Management platform and corporate entities. You'll partner with senior stakeholders to deliver insights, ensure robust governance and contribute to strategic commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver and assist with monthly reporting, statutory reporting, AFSL compliance and other regulatory reporting
* Prepare budgets, forecasts and performance insights with financial analysis
* Provide commercial analysis on strategic transactions, fund performance and business initiatives
* Manage cash flow forecasting, payments, and management fee invoicing
* Partner with Group on internal and external reporting cycles, including preparation of information for ASX and investor reporting
* Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support reporting and audit cycles
* Identify and implement process improvements across systems and reporting
Your background
* CA/CPA qualified with 4+ years' commercial accounting experience
* Experience in property, funds management or a corporate finance environment (preferred)
* Strong Excel capability and financial modelling skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders
* High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
