About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to support residents with their daily living, social, and emotional needs. As a Multiskilled Carer, you will play a vital role in enhancing residents' well-being and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility
* Support residents' independence and participation in meaningful daily activities, promoting dignity and choice
* Assist with the safe administration of medication in accordance with policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with nursing, allied health, and management personnel
* Contribute to infection prevention and workplace health and safety practices
* Assist with mealtime support to ensure nutritional needs are met
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
* Experience working in an aged care setting as a carer
* Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals, service providers, and case managers
* Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
