You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including financial planning and analysis, budget management, accounting, statutory and management financial reporting, and tax compliance. The CFO will work closely with the executive team to develop strategic plans, optimise financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Monthly management reporting, annual budgets, and rolling forecastsTaxation compliance, structuring, returns (principally BASs and ITRs)Deliver continuous improvement, with a focus on automation, outsourcing, and efficiency of staff and reporting systemsProvide financial analysis and oversight to key business projects, including acquisition analysis, due diligence, capital expenditure appraisals, and new business evaluationsDevelop tools and enhance systems to support financial and operational decision-making for stakeholdersEnsure regulatory compliance and manage registrationsImplement spending controls in accordance with company policies and proceduresEstablish and maintain effective controls across the business, understanding and optimising key performance driversDevelop and enforce policies and operating proceduresAssist with recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of finance staffQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA or CPA, CA preferredProven experience as CFO, VP of Finance, or similar in a dynamic environmentStrong leadership skills to motivate and manage a high-performing teamExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in food manufacturing environments is essentialExperience with mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising is preferredStrong understanding of corporate finance and performance managementExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsThis is a hands-on role requiring the ability to deliver across multiple finance functions.
