Job Title: Upper Primary Teacher
We are seeking an experienced educator to lead engaging learning programs tailored to the unique needs of upper primary students.

* The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, growth and wellbeing needs in upper primary students.
* A proven ability to design and implement inclusive PE programs and whole-school events is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-impact teaching and learning programs for students in Years 5 and 6, aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
2. Plan and lead our Specialist Physical Education program, including whole-school sports carnivals, incursions, excursions, and coordination of grants and resources.
3. Implement targeted physical development programs, including the Fundamental Movement Skills program, Perceptual Motor Program, and support for whole-school physical wellbeing.
4. Coordinate and lead key upper primary experiences, including the Year 6 Camp, Graduation, and student leadership opportunities.
5. Embed inclusive, trauma-informed and positive behaviour support practices through a Positive Behaviour Schools framework.
6. Foster strong partnerships with students, staff, families, and the wider community, promoting cultural responsiveness and relational trust.
